Blimey! VVO website goes English
Vienna, 27.06.2006
Since June 27th our international partners and all other interested parties are able to obtain even more information about the projects of the Austrian Insurance Association (VVO). The whole website has been translated into English.
The launch of our English website marks another step towards a continuing expansion of public relations operations and guarantees for easy access to all information by our Non-German speaking visitors. By gaining in importance where lobbying and the representation of interest are concerned, VVO is taking the leap to opening itself to the international community also via the world wide web.
The whole website www.vvo.at has been translated in English, with special attention to making the visit enjoyable and the information retrieval simple. With just one click every single page of the website can be accessed either in English or German. The switch is displayed prominently in the menu on the right side of each page.
Apart from all press releases and all relevant information for consumers there is also the useful glossary with its explanations and insurance related terms in English and German. It also serves conveniently as a dictionary.
Frequently used applications such as the „Vehicle registration“ and the „Motor Insurance Information“ as well as the well-tried search function are also available in both languages. The same goes for the highly popular section „FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions“.
The implementation of an English version of VVO´s website has been a deliberate step towards even greater internationality. As a modern representation of interests VVO provides efficient lobbying and comprehensive services for its member companies – thus also including activities on international and EU-level. Supplying bilingual information is a crucial element for the success of these activities and is essential for an international venture´s website.
By introducing its English website, VVO matches its internationally successful members and displays professionalism and openness to a global community.
