Setting the course for the future: Austrian Insurance Association appointed new Presidents

By unanimous consent VVO boards decided yesterday evening on the VVO presidency for the period June 2008 until June 2010. Vienna Insurance Group CEO Günter Geyer and Allianz CEO Wolfram Littich will succeed current president Herbert Fichta for one year each

Günter Geyer, chairman of the managing board and CEO of the WIENER STÄDTISCHE Versicherung AG Vienna Insurance Group will act as president of VVO for the period 2008/09. Wolfram Littich, CEO of Allianz Elementar Versicherungs-AG and Allianz Elementar Lebensversicherungs-AG, will succeed him between June 2009 and June 2010.

Both, Günter Geyer and Wolfram Littich, have been members of VVO boards for many years.
