Collective Contract Negotiations broken off

This year’s negotiations between the insurance industry and the Union of Private Employees concerning the collective contract for internal service employees of the national insurance sector were broken off on the 16th March 2006 amicably.
Concerning the raise of collective-contract-salaries no agreement could be achieved. The Union’s claim was 3,1 %. For a two-years-period Austrian insurance industry offered 2,7 % and the raise of 0,4 % - based on the average inflation rate of 2006 - for the year 2007.
A new appointment day will be arranged.
